When does registration take place?
Registration takes place in Late October-Early February for the Spring season and Early May-Early July for the Fall season.

How are teams formed?
Teams are formed by the Division Commissioner or by a coaches draft.  The primary purpose of team formation is to create teams that are evenly matched, however, there are also practice scheduling considerations and other factors that go into team formation.

Where and how often are practices scheduled?
Practices are scheduled once or twice per week on fields located throughout the county.  Practices are usually one hour, and can be no longer than an hour and a half.
There are no week night practices for the Soccer Shots.

When and where are games played?
All games are played at the Skyline SoccerPlex on Kerfoot Avenue in Front Royal.  Games are typically scheduled to start between 9a and 3p on Saturdays.  Make-up games may be scheduled for alternative times.

What equipment does each player need?
Each player will need soccer cleats (no front toe cleat), shin guards, socks, the appropriate size ball, and a water bottle for each practice.  Items should be clearly labeled with the players name. Uniforms are to be ordered by the parents through https://getspiritwearnow.com/product-category/frsa/.

Can I get a refund?
Refunds will only be awarded in cases where the family has to move out of the area before
the season starts, a player is injured and unable to participate, or when a player signs up
for a girls or boys division, and it gets changed to Co-ed due to registration numbers.
In these cases a refund must be requested immediately.  No refunds will be given after a
child has attended one practice or game, except in the event of a season ending injury.

Absolutely no refunds will be given after two games have been played for any reason.

Please understand that if a player decides to withdraw after teams are formed, it can create
a domino effect that many times negatively impacts other players and overall team selections.
It takes many hours and care to put teams together.

All refunds will be subject to a $25 administration fee.

To request a refund, please contact the FRSA Treasurer by e-mail at:
